This topic was read after reading a paper by Li Ou’s “Focus on Basic Skills” (see Quintessence No.7). Just go to the streets and look at the shops. The spurious, typos, and simplifications of the mess will jump around like a scorpion and pollute your eyes. What about the mass media? It’s equally irritating. When you open a newspaper and open a book, you can almost always find a typo. Even teaching materials and counseling books are difficult to avoid. For example, “The West Chamber” is printed as a “Hatchback”, and “Book” has become “Shangbu”, Mao Dun was changed to a contradiction, Lu Xun was engaged in Lu News, no wonder some people jokingly called “no mistakes can not be a book” .
