Teaching materialrnModule 2 Unit 5 Music Warming-up and Speaking.rnThe guidance of designingrnThe new curriculum requires teachers,conductors in the whole pro-cess of learning,to establish a student-centered classroom and empha-sizes the development of students as well as teachers at the same time.It also requires students to study,explore,exchange,and cooperate in learning by themselves.In this way,students are able to think and ex-press in English and develop their cross-cultural communication aware-ness.The classroom should be a place where teachers and students inter-act,learn and share together.The final purpose of English learning is to enable students to use the language freely.As a teacher in International Course Center of Gaoxin No.1 High School,I attach great importance to improving the ability of my students in all four aspects of English Learn-ing,namely Listening,Speaking,Reading and Writing.Because all the students in our center are going to study aboard,they have to take lan-guage tests like TOEFL or IELTS which require test-takers to have a good command of English.Thus,teachers in our center should combine our teaching materials with the preparation for the language tests.
