棉籽质量好坏,直接影响到棉花出苗、棉苗长势以及纤维品质和产量.群众素有以伏桃棉籽留种的习惯.近几年,我省由于受棉区改制和气候条件等影响,棉花经常迟熟,晚秋桃所占比重高,棉籽不能充分发育,质量差.本文重点在于测定伏桃、晚秋桃棉籽的脂肪酸组成、种子密度、发芽率,以及出苗后的棉苗长势等,借以阐明棉籽质量与发芽、出苗的关系及其生理生化基础.
