The original form of the museum was an ancient temple dedicated to the Muse, where the privileged classes admire and learn from the finest works of art. After the Renaissance, the museum building was more and more majestic, magnificent, and began to be open to the public, displaying paintings and sculptural artwork to people through the building’s gallery and exhibition space. Later, the museum gradually became the center for cultivating artistic accomplishments, researching and collecting works of art and people’s thinking and exchange of opinions. By presenting high-quality art pieces, museums are steadily changing, and modern museums should combine the beauty of form and culture with the dualism of temples and forums.
