加强大学生党员形象建设是加快党的建设和国家发展的需要,是改进高校思想政治教育工作的需要,也是促进大学生成才与发展的需要。当前大学生党员形象总体良好,但也存在诸如入党动机不纯、党性意识不强、文化素质较低等问题。影响大学生党员形象既有大学生自身方面的原因,也有高校大学生党建工作存在薄弱环节等外在因素。加强大学生党员形象建设,必须坚持以科学发展观为指导,要规范大学生党员选拔机制,增强大学生党员的党性修养和教育管理,促进大学生党员全面发展和营造良好氛围。
