1956年当兵,1958年入党,我可以说是个老党员了。当兵不久,就去了朝鲜,支援抗美援朝战争后的朝鲜建设,一边训练,一边劳动,用青春和汗水浇铸了朝鲜的水利工程。在朝鲜两年多的时间,我透支了体力,但乐在其中,和朝鲜人民建立了深厚的感情。我永远也忘不了离开朝鲜时的情景,火车刚刚启动,朝鲜阿妈尼满怀留恋哭喊着追赶火车,我用简单的朝鲜语向阿妈尼告别,一路哭着回到了祖国。我在军队一呆就是28年,军队炼就了我正直、爽快、刚正不阿和坚持原则的秉性,也炼就了勇敢、果断,一心为公、无私奉献的精神。在部队一切行动听指挥,自己虽没有经过枪林弹雨,但也是转战南北,不仅支援过朝鲜建设,还南下支援过越南
