There are two types of Chinese nouns (such as “beauty ” “professor ” “character ”, etc.). The first category is represented by “beautiful woman”, “genius” Their own lexical semantics provide the dimensions needed to construct a corresponding magnitude structure and require the degree to meet the minimum criteria. The second category is represented by “characters ” “accidents ” and so on. Such nouns themselves Lexical semantics does not provide the dimensions needed to construct a corresponding magnitude structure, but is provided by pragmatics (context) and does not require meeting minimum criteria. The research in this paper shows that the domain of nouns is not only hierarchical, but also has a more subtle classification of internalities like adjectives. The hierarchy of adjectives and nouns has cross-category parallelism.
