进入新世纪后,中国铁路客运发展已然启动了新一轮的“高速起跑” 10月7日,时速目标350公里的北京至石家庄铁路客运专线开工动员大会,在河北省涿州市码头镇举行。京石铁路客运专线正线全长281公里,速度目标值是350公里/小时,建设总工期为4年,投资估算总额438.7亿元。建成后,北京至石家庄间的旅行时间将不到一小时。该工程的开工,既标志着我国铁路建设“四纵四横”交通大格局及京津冀一体化
