首都图书馆位于北京朝阳区东南三环与在安路交叉点的东南角。工程总占地38009平方米,建筑面积为37033平方米,建筑高度为49.5米,工程总投资为2.4亿元人民币。北京首都图书馆是北京市九五期间的重点建设项目,其装修工程投标竞争激烈,深圳市装饰工程工业总公司脱颖而出,承担了图书馆多功能厅、报告厅、展厅及一至八层阅览室、古书阅览室等装饰工程的设计和施工任务。
The Capital Library is located in the southeast corner of the intersection of Southeast Third Ring Road and Onan Road in Chaoyang District, Beijing. The project covers an area of 38,099 square meters, a building area of 37,033 square meters, a building height of 49.5 meters, and a total project investment of 240 million yuan. The Beijing Capital Library is a key construction project during the Ninth Five-Year Plan period in Beijing. The competitive bidding for its decoration project is fierce. Shenzhen Decoration Engineering Industry Corporation stands out and assumes a multi-purpose hall, lecture hall, exhibition hall, and one to eight-story reading rooms of the library.
