郑州地处黄河之畔,地质状况大都属软土地带。郑州分局在北站地区规划修建的312生活小区,占地5.56公顷,规划为17栋住宅楼、以及商店等,建筑面积达35万平方米。在此实践中探索软土地基的设计原则是个极好的机会。 “312”住宅小区座落于软土地层之上,该地区10米以内地层分布情况为: 一层为耕质土,厚0.6~1.0m[R]=90kpa 二层为轻亚粘土,厚3~5m浅黄色,砂性大。[R]=70kpa 三层为轻亚粘土,厚0~1.4m浅黄色,可塑性。[R]=80kpa 四层为轻亚粘土,厚1~2.4m软塑流塑状。[R]=112kpa 五层为轻亚粘土,厚2~3m可塑状会姜石[R]=150kpa
