At the 2011 Chengdu Biennale, in a renovated industrial building under a bridge full of busy new shops, restaurants and galleries, I saw an ancient wall with rules and regulations on party members and cadres, These are already on the wall when the buildings are still in the factory. “Finally, the problem is the leading problem .Don’t see the problem is the biggest problem.Recurring problems is the work style of the problem .Subordinate staff’s quality is not your responsibility, but can not improve the quality of subordinates, is your responsibility”. Painted under the fence - it is under these instructions - that a group of happy workers and students intend to inspire the audience with their vitality and passion for the purpose of collectivism. The painter portrays the figure in a social-realist manner derived from a rough woodcut poster, and every Chinese who remembers the Cultural Revolution is well aware that such posters have almost turned a blind eye.
