岩滩电站坝高100m、混凝土方量达300万 m~3,全站装机容量4×30.25万 kW,要求1992年7月第一台机组并网发电,工作量大、任务重。作为混凝土进仓主要运载工具的2号无塔架缆机组(简称低缆)起升机构的测速发电机在1989年初多次发生故障,被迫停工。我局第五工程处的技术人员将4m~3电铲电压反馈的原理应用到缆机上,用它代替测速发电机,实践证明是成功的,确保了混凝土的正常施工,1989年10月浇筑了11.06万 m~3,创全国先进水平。
