So far, evolutionary biologists have not known why human beings (and most quadrupeds) have five fingers per hand. If we had 6 fingers, how would our life turn out? Or would it be more harm than good or more harm than good to have an extra finger? An extra finger made it easier for us to do something task. We can play more complicated instruments, improve typing speed, and get stronger when gripping objects. Wider hands make people better basketball players. However, the dexterity of the hand is basically determined by the thumb and forefinger, and the extra or less of one finger does not have much impact on the dexterity of the hand. The biggest impact of extra fingers should be in mathematics. If every human has 6 hands
