Private engraving in Guangdong has been greatly developed in the Ming and Qing dynasties. By the Qing dynasty (especially in the late Qing dynasty), Guangdong’s publishing industry had been at the forefront of the country. Well-known engraving, engraving, engraving shop all over the eastern part of Guangdong, and even some counties also appeared in different sizes private carved.
