汽车节能减排目标的实现需要从设计开始,保证在原材料采掘、生产制造、运销、使用和最终报废处理整个生命过程总的环境影响最小;设计人员要从汽车的原材料获取到残余物的最终去向,进行综合考虑,根据时间、空间、经费、技术以及其他环境影响信息的限制,对所选系统的边界作出取舍;将环境与资源效益的分析方法运用到汽车的设计中,实现汽车的功能性、环境性和成本性相协调,借助汽车设计的技术、管理和环境3类信息达到实现节能减排的目的。
