在中小型企業的鑄造車間,一般都用轉爐和冲天爐熔煉金屬。为了減少爐子爐襯的烧损,并利用其散發出的热能,我們曾对轉爐和冲天爐进行了一些改裝,現把它介紹如下: 一 轉爐的改裝 轉爐在熔煉时从爐口排出大量高溫烟气(1400℃~1600℃)。为了排出这股烟气,一般在爐口上空裝有水冷排烟罩。采用这种裝置不仅耗去大量净水,浪費大量热能,而且还需要建立循环水冷系統。显然这是一种很不經济的措施。因此,为了利用轉爐噴出熱量,我們在排烟罩上裝了一个作为受热用的水箱。当爐子噴出大量热流时,作为排烟罩頂的水箱底部便受热,因而水箱中水的溫度逐漸升高。等水具有一定溫度和压力后,即开始产生大量蒸汽。这些蒸汽可作加热
