中药学在丸散膏丹的基础上已发展成为具有现代理论和实验性很强的一门科学。中药有效成份的提取分离的研究方法是以有机化学理论和实验方法作为基础的一门科学。有机理论和实验是中药学科的重要组成部分,因此要使学生掌握研究中药这门科学技术,必须首先重视有机基础理论和实验技能的培养。因为中药专业课植物化学几乎全是以有机化学理论为基础的。植化的提取分离手段完全是有机实验技术和操作方法的应用。然而每个天然药物的成分是极为复杂的,要分离拿到各种成分单体,这不是很容易做得到的。仅“人参”这位中药成分的研究国内外已有悠久的历史并在继续探讨。就其提取分离方法需要有较强的有机理论知识和较高的实验手段及操作技术,这样才能在中药这些错综复杂的成分中进行科学分析、摸索,
Chinese medicine has developed into a science with strong modern theories and experiments on the basis of the pill.
