  In the United States, the juvenile delinquency has become a more and more serious social problem, and it brings some unstable social factors. still serious. What is the reason of th juvenile crime in America and how to solve the problem.
  Juvenile crimes are various, and their causal factors of delinquency are diverse and numerous. The question is “what caused it?” Unfortunately, it is difficult to answer the question in a few words. Stereotypical conclusion and gut instinct can produce a laundry list of causes that seem realistic.
  A. Family
  In the United States, there are too many single parents struggling to cope with demanding jobs and raising children; inner cities are blighted and the lack of jobs and overt discrimination there create a sense of hopelessness; no one is teaching children solid societal values and self—discipline; instant gratification has become the driving force for children because of poor parenting.
  B. School
  Family is one of the important factors of juvenile crime and school is another one. The campus violence in U.S.A. was more serious than any other developed country. There is some school violence:
  Schools are not holy places. According to the evidence above, violent affairs happen at school where should be full of peace and happiness. School leaders should find out the causes of the campus violence.
  School factors
  Why is the campus violence so serious? There is a theory – the Differential Association Theory which states that crime is learned behavior
  This theory shows that people’s criminal behavior is influenced by the other’s criminal behavior. The youth spend more time in school with the classmates or peers. Peers can also teach an adolescent or a child criminal behavior just as the family members can. If children feel as though they are viewed as delinquent, then they will act as such and find a sense of self—esteem by doing so.
  Academic failure is often associated with the beginning of delinquency and the escalation of serious offending, and school interventions that improve a child’s academic performance have been shown to reduce delinquency.
  C.Social
  Social factors
  The American teenager offenses become worse day by day, which is attributed to the American society. In 2003, the former American minister of education convened the news conference reported that the American teenager offenses reflected American social condition of main statistics index. He thought that the report that showed United States had experienced the society backset were enumerated in the report in the past 30 years.
  It is important to understand that social factor is a contributing cause of juvenile delinquency. The government and the society should adopt some measures to reduce juvenile delinquencies.
  So it is necessary for the family, school, and community to cooperation to reduce the juvenile crimes.
