This paper introduces the earliest extant wood-based architectural design handbook “Carpenter Ming” in Japan, and annotates the records of “Carpenter Ming Tower Ji Triple Tower” in detail. At last, the author makes a preliminary study of the related records with examples. This paper argues that the “Ming Dynasty triple tower” as Japan's early 17th century architectural design of the text records, and Japan's existing remains basically the same. Compared with Chinese real and Chinese literature (especially “Creating French Style”), “Carpenter · Tadaji · Triple Tower” also reflects some Japanese features of Japanese pavilion-style wooden pagoda, some of these features are Japanese in Chinese wood Improvements based on technology, while others reflect early wood technology that has been lost in China. Therefore, “Carpenter Ming tower set triple tower” for a deeper understanding of Japan pavilion style wooden tower, Chinese pavilion style wooden tower and East Asian traditional wooden construction technology has some reference value.
