恒电位仪是外加电流阴极保护系统中的核心部分。它给防腐系统提供一个可控制的电流。它的可靠性直接关系到整个防腐系统的成败。 目前国内生产的恒电位仪均为可控硅恒电位仪。可控硅有许多缺点;其过载能力、抗干扰能力差,控制电路较复杂,因此其可靠性很差。另外可控硅电路有较强的电磁辐射,对周围其它控制系统不利。现在,国外很少用可控硅恒电位仪,而是普遍使用磁饱和恒电位仪。
