随着人口老龄化和生活方式的改变,糖尿病正在世界范围内流行,糖尿病及其并发症已经成为危害人类健康的重大公共卫生问题。最新的数据表明,我国60岁以上的老年人群糖尿病患病率高达20%以上。骨质疏松症也是老年人群的常见疾病,随着我国医疗保健水平的升高,这个寂静的“健康杀手”也越来越受到人们的重视。骨质疏松症意味着骨折风险的增加,而骨折尤其是髋部骨折患者,1年内死亡率甚至高过于某些恶性肿瘤。糖尿病和骨质疏松症都属于内分泌代谢疾病,不少糖尿病患者在内分泌科就诊时会和其他病友交流到骨质疏松,常常也会产生一些疑问:糖尿病患者更容易得骨质疏松症吗?是什么原因导致的?糖尿病患者应该如何防治骨质疏松症呢?
