作为20世纪80年代台湾新女性主义文学的代表作家,廖辉英的创作引起了文学接受的热烈响应。然而对廖辉英小说创作的纯文学或通俗文学的定位,文学界却一直存在争议。廖辉英的小说创作在主题与立意上的严肃性无可辩驳,然其在艺术创作手法的选用上,的确表现出一些不同于纯文学的通俗化特征。文章从材料选取、结尾方式和文字风格三方面作了论述。
As the representative writer of Taiwan’s new feminist literature in the 1980s, Liao Hui-ying’s writing aroused a warm response to the acceptance of literature. However, literary circles have always been controversial about the positioning of pure literature or popular literature in Liao Huiying’s novels. The seriousness of Liao Hui-ying’s novels in the theme and conception is irrefutable. However, in his selection of artistic methods of creation, he does show some features of popularization different from that of pure literature. The article elaborates from the material selection, the ending way and the writing style.
