Peroxisomes are a class of monolayer organelles that are ubiquitous in a variety of eukaryotic cells. Peroxisome is a rich enzyme library, containing at least 50 enzymes, involved in a variety of physiological processes of metabolism, such as glyoxylate cycle, β-oxidation of fatty acids and reactive oxygen species regulation. In recent years, a growing number of studies have shown that peroxisomal and pathogenic fungi glyoxylate cycle and fatty acid β-oxidation function is closely related to play, and affect the pathogenic fungi pathogenic. The types and functions of enzymes in peroxisomes were summarized. The relationship between peroxisomes and glyoxylate cycle, β-oxidation of fatty acids and the pathogenicity of pathogenic fungi was reviewed.
