源于凯恩斯经济学的“节俭悖论”以及鼓励消费、刺激投资的宏观经济政策会助长消费主义的盛行。然而,在一个资源短缺的时代,过度的消费导致了目的与结果的相悖。本文深入分析了消费的目的——幸福,提出了人类幸福的三个必要条件,进而剖析了现代社会中与消费目的相悖的四种消费,分别从微观、宏观和历史的视角阐释了“消费悖论”及其对凯恩斯经济学带来的新挑战。
The “thrift paradox” derived from Keynesian economics and macroeconomic policies that encourage consumption and stimulate investment can fuel the prevalence of consumerism. However, in an era of scarce resources, excessive consumption leads to the opposite of the purpose and result.
