牛津小学英语教材以学生的发展为宗旨,着重培养学生学习英语的良好习惯,为他们的发展和终身学习打下好的基础。自2001年以来,教师们也已总结了很多可行的教学经验。只从考试成绩来看,学生对知识的掌握还是比较扎实的。但初中教师反馈情况说,发觉学生只会死记硬背,却不会自主地学习英语。问题在于小学教师包办得太多,从单词到句型,再到语篇,学生不需要多加思考,只要跟着老师的步骤走就能掌握。因此,学生一旦离开了老师搀扶,便茫然不知所向了。为此,笔者认为小学英语课堂应多给学生一些思考的空间,从以下几个方面着手,以刺激学生去主动思
