近年来,东方电气抓住发展机遇,顺应市场变化,成功实施了主业资产整体上市、董事会试点、产品结构调整等重大举措。全集团2010年全年完成发电设备3622万千瓦,再创历史新高,连续七年保持发电设备产量世界第一的纪录,2010年销售收入同比增长13%;工业增加值同比增长18%。备受关注的东汽新基地建设于2008年8月1日破土动工,到2010年“5.12”前胜利竣工投产,用不到两年时间实现了“两年内还社会一个新东汽”的承诺。同时,完成了5300套职工永久性安置住房建设任务,受灾职工家属已全部搬入新居,完成了一个拥有40年历史的大型装备制造企业的大转移。这是东方电气党内创争活动结出的丰硕成果,也是其党组织政治优势转化为企业科学发展优势的成功范例。
