当液晶电视(LCD)与等离子电视(PDP)加速进入家庭,DLP、LCoS等各类背投虽已上市但大多消费者对其还较陌生以及刚揭开面纱的OLED电视初露峥嵘之际,一种新型电视——激光电视开始进入我们的视线。从电视发展历史排代,黑白电视机是第一代,彩色电视机是第二代,平板高清电视为第三代那么第四代可能就是被称为“人类视觉史上的革命”而即将亮相市场的激光电视。目前全球主要有日本三菱、索尼与精工爱普生、德国LDT公司、韩国三星公司在积极开展激光电视的研究与开发,并且三菱已有完整的产品在2008年CES上展示。我国在激光显示领域的研发并不落后,对扫描式和投影式两种激光显示技术都有着深入的研究,并在投影式激光显示技术上取得了重大突破,开发出了相应的激光显示产品,研发技术总体水平与国际同步,某些关键技术(如色域覆盖率)处于国际领先地位。既然世界上有这么多国家肯化巨资投入激光显示技术及其电视等显示产品的研发,那么它一定有其固有的优于其它显示产品的地方。下面就激光显示技术的具体产品——激光电视向读者作一介绍。
