In the process of rural informatization, the admission of rural residents to the Internet determines the ultimate effect of information entering the village. This article uses the perspective of identity theory to analyze the interactive relationship between potential adopters and different social roles in Internet and investigate the influence of participants in the process of Internet diffusion on villager acceptance. The study found that family children and local teachers had a significant impact on the interpersonal diffusion of the Internet. Migrant workers and related businesses played a certain role in promoting Internet knowledge, while rural cadres and agricultural demonstration households had less influence on the interpersonal diffusion of the Internet .
