天门市第一人民医院始建于1950年,是一所集医疗、教学科研为一体的国家二级甲等综合医院。该院占地面积4万多平方米,固定资产1.3亿元。现有职工749人,其中高级专业技术人员58人,中级专业技术人员300余人。开设病床509张,年门诊量近30万人次,年出院病人1.8万人次。拥有美国 GE 磁共振、日本东芝数字血管造影机、德国西门子全身 CT等大型医疗设备120余台件。多年来,医院坚持“以病人为中心”的服务宗旨。推行“优质、高效、低耗”的管理模式,大力开展文明优质服务活动,不断改善服务态度和就医环境,赢得了可观的社会效益和经济效益。2002年门诊和病房工作量分别比上年同期增长8.5%和17.3%,经济收入增长18.4%,突破了7000万元,先后被授予“湖北省最佳文明单位”、“省文明示范医院”和“全省卫生系统先进集体”等荣誉称号。强化管理,树立医院良好形象医院党委十分重视内强素质,外树形象,通过强化管理来保证各项工作的健康发展。医院以抓职业道德为突破口,制定职业道德规范、岗位行为规范,实行医务公开、院务公开,建立医德医风档案,开展问卷调查听取群众的意见和建议,接受病人的评价。
