Objective: To investigate the relationship between the expression of CD34 monoclonal antibody (MVD) and pituitary adenoma in patients with pituitary adenoma and its clinical significance. Effective and safe for the treatment of patients with social life to provide a theoretical basis for treatment. Methods: The expression of CD34 in pituitary adenomas from 1998-05 / 2001-0741 and in 5 normal pituitary tissues was detected by immunohistochemical SP method. Results: The average MVD in 41 cases of pituitary adenomas was 20.9 ± 8.0. The mean MVD of 5 cases of normal pituitary tissues was 12.2 ± 2.4. The difference was significant (t = 2.4, P <0.05). The mean MVD (a / high power field) value was 27.0 ± 4.8 in 23 cases of erosive pituitary adenomas (group Ⅲ ~ Ⅴ) and 13.2 ± 2.6 in 18 cases of closed pituitary tissues (type Ⅰ ~ Ⅱ) There was significant difference between the average MVD in pituitary adenomas and the group of closed pituitary adenomas and normal pituitary adenomas (t = 10.9, P <0.01). There was no significant difference between the average MVD of closed pituitary adenoma group and normal pituitary tissue group (P> 0.05). Conclusion: The anti-CD34 monoclonal antibody-labeled microvessel density is closely related to the clinical grade of pituitary adenoma and may reflect the use of invasive behavior of pituitary adenomas in order to guide clinicians to choose more practical and safe and to the patient’s physiological, psychological, Mental and subjective feelings are beneficial treatment programs.
