As a form of verb, passive voice is used to express the relationship between subject and predicate verb. In English, there are two kinds of relations: one is the active relationship, that is, the active voice; the other is the passive relationship, that is, the passive voice. The active voice indicates that the subject is the performer of the action, while the passive voice indicates that the subject is the receiver of the action. This phenomenon is also reflected in Chinese, as we learned in primary school language “to ” and “be ” is the case. For example, “I eat an apple” is equivalent to the active voice in English, and “Apple was I eat” is equivalent to the passive voice in English. Passive voice as a grammar point that Beijing and even the whole nation focus on examines its role not only reflected in the examination paper but also reflected in our usual use of English. Here we come to learn all about the passive voice.
