The U.S. Treasury currently owns about 73.7 billion U.S. dollars in cash on hand, and Apple’s latest annual earnings report shows that the company’s reserves have reached 76.4 billion U.S. dollars, more than the White House. This is the financial dilemma faced by the Obama administration today: money is not enough. Obama is trying to borrow more money to cover his daily expenses while raising the tax burden on the rich. The Republican Party controls the House of Representatives, rivals the Democratic president and refuses to approve it. Unless the government cuts spending, it can not arbitrarily increase taxes. The republican and democratic parties can not compromise. This is the political stalemate that the bipartisan parties in the United States are facing today. They are mutually exclusive and you live and die.
