Radioimmunoassay can detect 10 microliters of dried blood spots and other micrograms of phenobarbital in biological fluids. The phenobarbital detection ability of old streaks and the cross-reaction of vaginal secretions were studied. In the past, we reported that phenytoin, morphine, and digoxin in dried blood spots were detected by radioimmunoassay (RIA). L · A · Gold assayed the salicylate in blood spot by fluorescence method. Spector, Flynn and Clyland proposed the use of radioimmunoassay to test for sodium pentobarbital. In this study, we tested biofluids and their blemishes as well as phenobarbital in single hair.
