Figure 1 shows a discrete component A / D converter drive circuit. This circuit converts single-ended inputs to differential outputs. The A / D converter’s reference voltage determines the common-mode range of the differential output. The circuit consists of two AD9631 amplifiers, one amplifier connected in-phase and the other connected in an inverting circuit. The OP279 amplifier buffers and regulates the A / D converter’s reference voltage to set the common-mode operating range for both outputs. The circuit shown in Figure 1 requires many resistors.
