铅黄铜具有优良的使用特性,早已被人们广泛应用于社会各个领域。铅黄铜中唯一能改善合金机加工性能的元素是铅,而且铅在黄铜中的溶解度极低,绝大部分的铅处于单质游离态,以细小均匀的独立态分布于合金黄铜的基体之中,能有效地改善合金黄铜的机加工性能,加工后易获得光滑的加工表面。然而合金材料中铅单质容易以固态或气态的形式析出。铅属于有毒重金属,能不断富集且不易被去除,进入环境后便对自然界造成严重污染。因此研究一种即环保又能达到易切削的黄铜已成为科学研究领域的重点。
