As more and more breakthroughs in new technologies and science come from interdisciplinary research, Penn State and Rafael Venoré Architects decided to integrate the school’s Department of Life Science and Materials Science into a single building Inside. In response to an extremely sensitive research program, Rafael Villanori Architects designed a structural solution that fully housed the experimental facility to meet the technological needs while creating an open space and access to the School Science Center The door.
