However, the continuation of Maonan ethnic group’s traditional culture is also facing difficulties. The traditional ethnic crafts appeared problems of inheritance subject, market and cultural ecology. The traditional negative factors of Maonan religion and folk custom activities also hindered people’s pursuit of the pace of modern healthy life. Therefore, it is necessary to develop the traditional Maonan craft and guide the masses to play an entertaining function of religious and folk activities, dilute their consumption function, encourage the masses to use alternative ritual supplies, and abandon the old ideas so as to achieve the goal of healthy living.
