去雷州海康,游雷州西湖,登三元塔,观二公祠……二公祠在位于雷城东南的三元公园内,占地2000余平方米,前侧为碧波如镜的鉴池,后侧为雷阳八景之一的启秀塔即三元塔,右边为古城墙,左边遥对海康博物馆,绿树掩映,花香鸟语。此祠为纪念我国清代海康名人陈瑸(1656——1718)及陈昌齐(1743——1820)而建。二公均是进士,虽生不同时死不同日,但他们的业绩启迪着后人,百姓自然为之建祠纪念,让他们共住一堂,永昭日月。二公祠属现代仿古建筑,朱墙黄瓦,翘角飞檐,雕图纳彩,古朴清新。门前两尊石狮,栩栩如生;两大盆杜鹃花,争艳斗丽。进入祠内,可见三厅一亭一池。正厅庄严肃穆,有二公之雕塑座像两尊,一左一右,古铜之色,神态自若,各领风骚。壁悬清康熙皇帝赐予闽抚陈瑸均御诗匾额,为行书
