Urea, monoammonium phosphate and diammonium phosphate are the three major export products of China’s chemical fertilizers and are also the export varieties of fertilizers under the state’s key control. In 2010, China exported a total of 7.03 million tons of urea, 1.94 million tons of monoammonium phosphate and 3.99 million tons of diammonium phosphate. The three totaled 11.96 million tons, accounting for 74% of the total output of 16.18 million tons of chemical fertilizer in that year.
