“让”为传统美德之一 ,其道德意蕴在具体运用中有强弱之别。历史上的“让”德 ,有着复杂的理论背景。就儒家而言 ,崇“让”是为了隆“礼”。而在道家看来 ,“让”是“道法自然”的具体要求。古人为避免过用“让”德 ,又提出与“让”相对的“争” ,并对可为“争”的场合作了规定。如能循义而行 ,与人为善 ,则其“让”也德 ,其“争”也德 ,“让”与“争”就在义或善的基础上达致统一。在以市场经济为基础的现代社会中 ,我们必须对传统“让”德加以必要的改造 ,摈弃其义、利对立的成分 ,凸现其“取利有道”的思想 ,使之为现代社会服务
“Let” as one of the traditional virtues, its moral meaning in the specific use of strength or not. The history of “let” Germany, has a complex theoretical background. In the case of Confucianism, “giving” is for “giving ceremony.” In the view of Taoism, “letting” is the specific requirement of “morality and law.” In order to avoid using “letting” morality, the ancients also proposed the “war” as opposed to “letting” and stipulated the occasion that could be “contested.” If they can act according to righteousness and be good with others, then their “let” and “virtue” and their “contention” and virtue, “let” and “fight” will achieve reunification on the basis of righteousness or goodness. In the modern society based on the market economy, we must make the necessary transformation to the traditional “letting”, abandon its components of righteousness and antagonism, and highlight its idea of “taking advantage of the interests and gain the morality” so as to make it serve modern society
