近几年来,社会各界愈发关注公共关系,同时也更加重视危机管理。这是与中国加入WTO、经济全球一体化的大环境紧密相关的。国际惯例的通行,市场行为的规范,法律制度的健全,消费者对自身利益的重视与维护,都引发了很多导致危机出现的因素,也使得公共关系的地位逐渐提升。同时,政府也对企业的危机管理十分重视,尤其是在SARS这样的全国性危机袭来之时,政府给予了企业强有力的支持,也为企业的危机公关提供了很大的发挥作用的空间。
