利用吸水链霉菌应城变种(Streptomyces hygroscopicus var.Yingchengensis)的两个不同营养缺陷型的突变株WNF-2-1-90(Leu~-)和WNF-2-1-135(Arg~-)为亲本,在PEG的助融下进行了种内原生质体融合。从获得的融合子中发现有一株稳定的原养型融合子FR-008,除产生亲本所能产生的5102-Ⅰ号和5102-Ⅱ号抗生素外,尚能产生亲本不能产生的对某些酵母菌具有活性的新抗生素。该抗生素还对孑孓具有很强的致死活性。兹将实验结果简报于后。FR-008发酵物的滤饼用80%甲醇浸提,浸提液加压浓缩至水相,用水饱和正丁醇提取;发酵滤液也用水饱和正丁醇提取。合并两者的正丁醇提取液,在50℃以下减压浓缩至小体积。
