钢的低倍组织检验,用超声波探伤方法进行预检已在很多冶金厂推广使用,这对节约人力物力,提高检测灵敏度起了很好的作用。但目前用纵波垂直法探测,棒材皮下缺陷的漏检率较高。可是供给热压力加工,冷顶锻、冷拔用钢的坯料均对皮下缺陷有较严的规定,并有定量的要求,纵波垂直法是不能适应的。
