大武口区是石嘴山市的政治、经济、文化和商贸中心,也是一个因煤而立、因工而兴的老工业城市。近些年,面对经济转型的压力和艰巨的发展任务,大武口区砥砺奋进、攻坚克难,取得了产业转型升级、民生持续改善、生态全面提升的喜人成就,广大人民群众不仅亲眼见证了大武口区经济社会发展的腾飞,而且共享了改革发展释放的红利。
Dawukou District is the political, economic, cultural and commercial center of Shizuishan and an old industrial city built from coal because of its work. In recent years, in the face of the pressure of economic restructuring and the arduous task of development, Dawukuk District has made tremendous efforts to overcome difficulties and has achieved gratifying achievements in industrial transformation and upgrading, continuous improvement of people’s livelihood and overall improvement in ecology.
