教操其他语言者学英语的教师协会(TESOL—Teachers of English to Speakers of Oth—er Languages)于今年二月二十七日至四月四日在美国波士顿市举行第十三届年会。协会主席,新墨西哥大学的伯纳·斯鲍尔斯基(Bernard Spolsky)博士以《从实践与职业道德上考察语言测验》的报告揭开学术讨论的序幕。年会的讨论题有:《教材发展:新的天地》,《探讨第二语言教学中的新趋势:毫无声息的路子;暗示教学法;商讨学习界的语言学习》,《双语教学:研究及其含义》,《在不同环境中教英语》。
TESOL-Teachers of English to Speakers of Oth-er Languages held its 13th Annual Convention in Boston, USA from February 27 to April 4 this year. The president of the association, Bernard Spolsky of the University of New Mexico, unveiled the academic discussion with a report entitled “Examining Language Proficiency from Practice and Ethics.” The topics discussed at the annual conference are: “The Development of Teaching Materials: A New World”, “New Trends in Second Language Teaching: A Soundless Approach; Implications for Teaching Methodology; Language Learning in Learning Circles”, “Bilingual Teaching: Research And its meaning ”,“ teach English in different environments. ”
