中专、职业中学等中等专业技术学校的公共外语课,从1994年秋季开始采用广东省中专英语教材编写组编写的中专教材.这套教材和普通高中英语教材相比,有其长处也有其明显的不足.该教材中语法内容编排较集中,所用课时又较少.例如作为教学重点的定语从句,普通高中教材安排四次讲完,而中专教材只安排两次,而且配套练习少.普通高中教材中每讲一次定语从句的内容,设置3至5种不同类型的配套练习,先后共设置了5种类型,82个句子,予以巩固;而中专教材只设计了3种不同类型的练习、仅仅20个句子.这就大大增加了教学难度.也给学生学习定语从句带来
