从知华屋即山邱,桂翠兰香影不留,毕竟古人能好事,摩挲片石已千秋。——清·陈彝(《江都县续志》卷一五《金石考》“隋张通妻陶贵墓志”)《隋代墓志铭汇考》(以下简称《汇考》)是国家文物局立项资助并由西安碑林博物馆组织实施的科研项目,列入二○○一年全国文物博物馆系统人文社会科学重点研究课题。自二○○二年夏季启行编纂,迄二○○六年秋天始克蒇事。日月往复,经年再三,此间付出的心力、承受的甘苦和得到的襄帮,已然凝聚成这部多卷本的著作,奉献给传承文明走向进步的社会,而其庶能小助于学术并得留证于时代,则又无任欣慰之至。
