马愉,山东临朐人,明宣德二年(1427)状元。正统五年(1440),入阁预机务。正统十年(1445),升任礼部右侍郎。正统十二年(1447)卒,赠翰林院学士、资善大夫、礼部尚书,赐谥号“襄敏”。有《澹轩文集》传世,收于《四库全书》存目中。临朐马氏乾隆版族谱保存有组诗《送侍讲学士马先生》25首及《像赞》两篇,系正统九年(1444)春翰林院诸公送别马愉之父士贤公之作。组诗不仅反映了马愉交往的一个侧面,而且也能反映当日翰林院的人员构成及人情往来等情况。这其中的多数诗作不见于诗作者本人文集,而仅保留于此,雪泥鸿爪,尤显珍贵。今对组诗文略加整理,对相关作者加以简要考证,并结合《澹轩文集》对马愉与诗中所涉诸人的交往作必要的勾勒,冀为明代科举及文学研究提供一点可资参用的资料。为存真起见,诗文附录于后。
