此次会议开得不长,但同志们一致认为这是一次很重要的会议,特别是对环境统计工作来说更是如此。正如张坤民副局长在开幕式报告中指出的:“这是在环境统计工作中负有承前启后历史使命的一次会议。”环境统计工作走过了两个五年,开始进入了巩固和发展的新阶段。环境管理近几年有了很大发展,对环境统计工作提出了新的更高要求。计算机日益普及的今天,统计手段的现代化也提到了议事日程。面临这样的形势,我们需要不断研究新情况,解决新问题,提出新的奋斗目标,环境统计工作才能健康发展。
