在历史悠久、卷帙浩繁的楚辞学领域 ,长期占主流地位的一直是考据训诂方法或社会学方法。始于本世纪初的王国维的艺术审美研究方法虽然有近一个世纪历史 ,但这种极为切近楚辞学艺术本体研究的方法由于多种历史原因而并未繁荣扩展开来 ,直到本世纪八、九十年代 ,它才随着新时期美学理论热潮又重新显现。本文初步厘定了这一学术路向相对于传统方法的优越之处 ,清理了它的多种表现形式 ,并且预示艺术审美研究对楚辞学领域的重要作用 :它开拓了一种新的阐释可能性。
